As one of the members who has met your dad several times, I feel for you and your family Dyno. My dad had quad bypass in March. When you go into visit him for the first time, don't be surprised that you don't recognize him. It was really scarry for me and my family. But within one day he was looking like himself again, and even stood up 6 hours after the surgery!! Today, he is fine. Says he feels great!

Which hospital? Surgeon?

By the way, my dad skates with me 2 nights a week. Rides his bike around the lake up north (about 8 miles or so), and roller blades to get the paper when at the cottage. I'm sure you father will be up and around in no time. You will be surprised.
