quite like a Gucci Edition 37 Aronow - time to dig out those pastel suits and loafers and run the Don Johnson 5 o'clock shadow electric razor over your face, then hit the water!

It's actually a pretty slick looking boat - anyone know the history of these boats? I dont' remember reading about them in "The King of Thunderboat Row" - I'm assuming that Don built these during one of his times away from Cigarette?

There weren't many built...I've seen one other 37 and it was here on Long Island and was red...pretty cool boat.

There's a 45 and a 47 at Falcon now and the 47 looks like an overgrown Midnight Express---hey Bing! It being completelyu refitted and has a pair of big ole diesels and Arneson drives.

The 45 is for sale and has triples---it's all white and just arrived from Florida...i've got to get you guys some pics of this bad boy...the lines are exactly like the Gucci pictured above.

I had the privelege of viewing that Gucci boat up close & personal---climbed into the cabin, etc.

A gorgeous boat, but some of the gawdiest color schemes you'll ever see. I must admit, the 14kt gold hardware fixtures blended well with the rest of the colors!

riskybusiness,

Funny you should say that, I thought - in the pictures at least - that the interior looked surprisingly modern. Beige / black is a pretty smooth combination.

Of course, pictures don't always tell the full story....

That 47 is at our marina it has a huge set of props. It needs some t.l.c. What speeds did it run?

LOL! So true about the eighties!

If that is a 1990 model then Don didn't build it. He was killed on Feb 3 1987. The day.........the muuuuuuusic died.
