Chris Craft

Anybody know the background as to why Chris Craft stopped making "offshore" type boats. I know they got a lot of exposure from the Miami Vice boat. They have some real cool older models but I never understood why they stopped making them. I guess it the same situation as the Scarab?

I heard that the company went bankrupt due to lawsuits. I dont know if there is any truth to that though.

Thats what I heard too,,,,,,,, hull issues killed 'em.
