Has anyone ever used a Honda Generator EU2000i? I saw some boats with them over the summer and was thinking of getting one. Any feed back would be great.
Thanks,

I have one, it will run my AC on my Powerquest, Very quiet and compact. I think it weighs under 60 Lbs. No problems at all.

I have one on my 38 Special and sold one to DOC Holiday to use on his Outlaw. PM Doc and get his opinion. I also sold one to a friend of after trying Doc's. They work great on boats. I am a Honda dealer and will sell other OSO'ers a 2000 for $870.00 including shipping.

The extension cord allows us to set it on the swim platform. Works great.

Does it run on Gas or Diesel? Internal or external tank? Waterproof? How long will it run on how much fuel?
Looks very convenient and lightweight. Would be perfect for overnighting.

Gas, Internal Tank, Not Waterprook, It ran our ac unit for atleast 12 hours.
I think this has been discussed many times on this board. I believe I bought mine from a recommendation on the board. Do a search.

Several guys here on the bay have them. They work great. A good friend has one for his 35 Sonic & it will run EVERYTHING, no problem. So quiet, you wouldnt know it was on.
He uses his shore power cord with an adapter. He says he can turn everything on, including A/C, microwave, etc, no problem...... Runs it all night long for the A/C and he brings a small 1 gallon gas can to refill it and he stays out all weekend. Puts it on the swim platform and ties it to the cleats to ensure it wont fall off if he gets rocked by wakes while anchored.
