Default Attn: S.C.O.P.E 'ers - recommend a shop - Northwest OC

You don't have to be SCOPE. Any OC boater will do.

Need recommendation for a good shop for tune-ups, winterizing, repairs, etc.

I live in Northwest OC (Sunset Beach/HH area). Something close to home would be a huge plus. DSM is just a little too far for what I need.

Any thoughts on shops to < go to/stay away from > would be greatly appreciated. Seen a SCOPE'er today at the Starbucks in HB getting his caffeine fix before Catalina Ski Race practice. . . . that's what brought this to mind.

Precision Marine, Huntington Beach

Look for Joe Baca ... He takes care of my boat like it's his own .... and your bill will be close to what you expected

Thanks Cig1. . .
My last run of the season may have been the HH boat parade. Don't know if you were there, but it was a real nice night.

Good thing is, in SoCal is the next season starts Jan 1 of '04.

There's also an Extreme Marine in Los Alamitos and an Extreme in Santa Ana. And in Costa Mesa, there's Dan at Archer Marine.

Cig1. . . I can only go to one of 'em. Who's your pick? I'm having a hard time finding Precision. Where exactly are they located?

Cool

May be a little south of you, but don't forget Dick Simon Marine, now operated by GT Performance...
