You're right, it's horrible.
Whole sections of several states go under water for days at a time. High winds and seas force thousands to evacuate their homes. Dozens of people die. . . . oh, wait, that's a hurricane. Southeast US. . . my bad.
OK, ok, the sky turns black, then the hail starts, and the high winds. Entire trailer parks are scrubbed off their foundations and deposited several counties away. Dozens of families die, and hundreds more are left homeless. . . DAMN IT ! !! that's a tornado. Midwest U.S. Crap. . . . Sorry.
All right. several feet of the crap falls over several states for days. Several states are paralyzed. business shuts down. Schools close, people die. . . . wait a minute, thats a blizzard. Northern US. . . . SH#T !!!! Why can't I get this right ? ? ?!!!!
OK, the earth shakes for maybe thirty seconds, people like Nort and myself go "whoa". We are so shook up, we go boating.

I should buy some land in parkfield. In a couple of years I'll make a killing selling oceanfront property.

It's more central Cali than SO Cal.. I went thru the 6.4 Northridge quake when I lived in Norts territory, Woodland Hills.. It completely trashed my apartment at Oakwood Apts..

CNN is overstressing the area and the concern of the atomic energy plant..
