Anyone Have the ATS system on Powerstroke?

I have been shopping for more power to go into the 7.3 Powerstroke.

I have friends with Banks systems that love them, but the local dealer is now pushing the "ATS" system.

On the ATS they quoted a total installed, tax and all price of $2,864.12 for the complete 3 stage system, air intake, complete 4 inch exhaust with dual exit behind each wheel polished. This also includes a guage pod with exhaust guage, trans guage and turbo guage.

The exhaust looks major cool. I drove one and the first stage was OK, the second stage that you can tow in is very impressive and the third stage is killer.

They give a 100% guarantee, if you do not completely love it they will take it all off, put the stock parts back on and refund your money.

Have any of you used this system, or heard anything about it either way?

Thanks

I had the ATS 3 stage chip in my '99 7.3. I was very impressed with the gains but it would get hot on long inclines while towing.

All I did was remove the muffler, no intake or larger exhaust. This may be the reason for the heat. Although $2800.00 seems kinda high. I think you could do better elswere for the exhaust and intake.

Hey Doc, hope all is going well for you and that you guys had a great Christmas. Are you already wanting more power for the Powerstroke? You might as well face it. That 36 footer aint gonna pull like a Jetski behind a Mustang GT. :D

Did the wife tell you I called with the info you wanted on the running boards. I dont think you will find them at a better price anywhere.

Thanks Troutly, Will Do!

Pure Engery, I really appreciate the feedback. I have been looking for someone with experience with this system. You are right about the exhaust, it is about $400.00 higher than other I have found, but to me it is worth it. Those two polished tips out from behind each wheel are really sweet! Kind of like the extra money we spend on our boats!

Hey Greg,

Christmas was great, hope you and the family had a good one.

Yes, the wife did give me the information and I am real sorry I have not been back in touch with you. Appreciate you going to the trouble for me. That is a great price, I will try and get them right after the first of the year. Will be in touch!

I would get the X monitor. The big A-pillar mount makes a big blind spot.
