Can't get rid of annoying pop-up
I'm having a website pop up on my desktop every few minutes and I haven't been able to get rid of it... Its some russian website called razgulay.ru. I'm not sure how it happened, and I've tried everything I know of to get rid of it, including cleaning out cookies and files, using ad-aware and Spybot search and destroy to clean out any spyware, and am now running ad-stopping programs to try and prevent it from coming up. These programs stop the site from popping up, but it still tries to anyway. When it does come up I have managed to block it from showing any pictures, but it still comes up every once in a while. Has anyone had a problem like this before or have any suggestions as to what I could do? How can I stop this annoying site from popping up?
Any response is appreciated!

Go to RUN. Then type in MSCONFIG. Then click the tab on the far right. You'll now see a list of all programs that load when you boot up. Uncheck any you don't recognize.
Try to stay off the porn sites and never allow anything to be downloaded you don't want.

ctrl,alt, del
go to task manager and see if there is something running you do not like or know about
end task
if it does not come up anymore you found it.
Then do the mscong to get rid of it from booting
or you can edit your registry and do it that way too
or just reformat you whole computer back to factory specs and be done with it totally and safely

I went to www.safe-networking.org and downloaded a FREE clean-up program to get rid of all the pop-ups. It worked GREAT. Its called spy bot. I just did it today.

You're more patient than I am. I'd have given the computer away by now and bought a new one. That **** drives me nuts! I'm amazed Spybot didn't clean it, you might want to check for updates to Spybot on his site. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. I asked the guru in my MIS dept for help... I was told to load and run Ad-aware. I did with no luck. A friend then told me about Spybot and that solved my problem. With that being said, you might try running another spy-ware removal program if Spybot has no updates for you.
GOOD LUCK!
