Re: Boat Cabins
I need a cabin just to crash after the bars so I don't drive home and hit a log. If I lived on the water, I would have a cat, Nortech would be first choice 36.

For me, I like havin some what of a cabin to get out of the sun or just kick back and relax. (The wife will surely agree to that!) We probably spend less than 2% of our time in the boat, in the cabin. So I say if we need to have all the plush comforts of home, we might as well stay home. We both love goin fast and jumpin waves!
You guys must be thinking about Tonto and his two toys. The Island(Sea Ray) and the Taxi(41' Apache). It's good to be the King. |
Re: Boat Cabins
I personally would love the concept of owning a Gladiator, they are the one the best looking boats I've ever seen seen but my wife would never have it. She wants a minimum of a half cabin in a Top Gun. I have to admit the few times we have slept on our boat we've really enjoyed it. She doesn't like the concept of not having somewhere to freshen up, store your clothes and bags, make a sandwich or do something out of the sun once in a while.
Like I said, I could care less, I guess if you are married they probably enjoy the cabin more than we do. |

I had a full cabin in my 292 FASTech and never used it...just recently moved up to a 382 without one and don't miss it. It really depends on the type of boating that you prefer.

Re: Boat Cabins
Cabin? Whats a cabin? I own a low deck cat. You can sleep in the"cabin" but don't sit up, you'll end up with a headache and a bump on ur noggin.
