I agree. I would like to take on of those punks and through him in with 4 lions and see his chances.

Too bad the lion didn't have a gun!!! Maybe it would be a little even tripps

I wish that Lion would have killed those p_ssies. I would love to see them suffer.

I like to hunt, but I only hunt what I will eat. I can't see killing a great cat just to pump your ego.

I would have been more scared of all the panicked guys trying to shoot the cat when he charged. Look, you can see one with the rifle pointed right at the guy that shot.

When hunting dangerous game it is standard for the guides to carry backup rifles. If you noticed the hunter took the first shot and no one else shot until the lion charged. At that point all bets are off and you do what you have to keep someone from being killed. Really don't see what the problem is. Are y'all saying a profesional guide doesn't have the right to protect himself or his client? Granted the hunter should have made a better first shot but sometimes **** happens.

Cowards!

I don't post much here but looks like personal whore gratification here to me. Nothing like a majestic lion being ruled in his kingdom by silver edacity.

But that is just my opinion.

My philosophy... hunt to kill, kill to eat.

Chris,
Its nice to see your name. I hope after all the work Im doing this winter we can can get to hang and run this season. I had a great time in NJ that time.

A REAL hunter would not be using such a hi powered rifle and scope for such a magnificent animal.

At least use a bow and arrow if you have the balls.

I think the point that most were trying to make, myself included, is what is the point of hunting the lion in the first place? Personally, I don't hunt, but I have no problems with people hunting animals they will eat.
Hunting a lion so you can hang a head on your wall is an a#$hole move if you ask me.
