This mornings paper stated there will be only 2 areas to launch ((Skinny Al's Fish Camp and South Port Park.

I'm not familiiar with the area they mention. They will be exposing 9000 acres of land after draing out some water to eleiminte weeds and muck..

Question....Will there be races there this year??

Wonder if they mean the Boggy Creek Fish Camp?

Not sure where the "South Port Park" is.

There's only three ramps available for use on East Lake. One is at the Boggy Creek Fish Camp, the second is at the St. Cloud Lake Front Park, but that's where the wet pits are and will be closed to the public, and the third is in Chisolm Park on the south east corner of the lake.

The race is held on East Lake Toho in St. Cloud.
Big Lake Toho (or West Lake Toho) in Downtown Kissimmee is the one that's been drained.

This is wierd.
I looked up Skinny Al's and South Port Park.
Skinny Al's (4715 Kissimmee Park Rd., St. Cloud) is on the east side of Big Lake Toho about center (north/south) of the lake.
South Port Park (2001 E. Southport Rd., Kissimmee) in at the very southern end by the canal locks.

There is also a large ramp at the very north end of the lake at Lake Front Park in Kissimme.
Wonder if they changing the venue?
Will the lake be ready by April???
