I had 27 changa with twin 454s ran around 60 . Very comfortable at the dock however ride was washy in the rough stuff. More of a cruiser with bolster seats. However I overnited on it alot and it was alot more comfortable than my old checkmate. I ran in a poker run once thought the drives going to fall off alot of slop in the steering , also made a mess of my good china in the cabin. Its no gun.

Agreed...with tall hullsides, a raised deck, full 8 1/2' beam and a 26' bottom...not the finest offshore ride but amazingly the 27' was a much better riding boat than the 32 Pac. There was alot of room in that boat for the size of it...a real easy-to-use boat. I have yet to sleep as well on any of my boats since then! The bolsters were tall and unique, and overall the finish work and build quality were very good. There's alot good to say about them as boats...not neccessarily as a performance boat.

Rough Crowd
I thought the title of this post was weird, but remember the "Arriva"?
As far as which boat is best...........with the exception of a Velocity, cause they are the best!
A boat is your little piece of heaven, and if yours makes you happy than that is all that matters. They all have there good and bad points and they are all an addiction and also a "big whole in the water, to throw money into". Just a thought to ponder though, what if Bayliner decided to enter offshore racing with all of it's assets and support? Would be weird seeing "Bayliner Racing" shirts in the wetpits, don't you think?
Everyone have a great and healthy New Year!!
