In a heart-beat!!! These carts are BIG TIME fun for people of any age. I started racing in carts. As a matter of fact, almost all of the big name drivers in most forms of racing had their butt in a cart at one time or another. They are a GREAT way to learn car control... with the short wheel base and a lot of power they are are a handful. I have to warn you though, these things are NOT toys. There are capable of pulling some serious g's and they flat out move. Obviously they are not quite as quick as the one in the video, but I can assure you they are very quick. As an adult you can expect to get pretty bruised-up and have some sore muscles. If you do some searching around you'll likely find that there are race tracks around you. You can buy a used cart with spares fairly cheap (make sure you get some spares). If you're not into the competitive racing idea, you can get something dated for very little money. Parts are cheap and they are very simplistic. If you have the space, get two carts and you and a friend will have the time of you're life with these things. To this day I still jump at any opportunity to hop in a cart. Find a cart shop or track in your area and check them out... I PROMISE you'll be hooked after taking a spin in one. Like I said, they are not little toys.

BTW, they are tight fitting. I'm kind of muscular and I have a hard time finding loaner carts that I fit in, so you may have to do some customizing to get a cart to fit you if you're not 150 lb. and 5'7".

shifter karts CRANK!!!!!!!!

they will easily run 120 on a real race track they run eth laydown karts at watkins glen. Its pretty common to break ribs when racing them becasue of the gs and lack of suspension. Lots of guys wear rib gaurds but brakes still happen.

I;d run my formula ford any day at those speeds but i';m strapped in and not goign any place. when you wreck a shifter kart you get tossed. I've sene vids of guys literally doing cartwheels all the while breaking appendages.......
