Fever Mike,
FoSgulls? Cool. They were way ahead of their time, singing that song about Iran...
"and Iran, Iran's so far away..
and Iran, they ran for night and day..
they couldn't get away..."
But weren't those electronic drums on that track?

There are a few "Gilley's" around. One in the Frontier Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. And a new one in Dallas.

Has this turned into a country thread? 80's country isn't hard to recognize...it sounds pretty much the same as every other decade of whine in your draft beer, my woman left me for the dog... "doom, despair and agony on me"
