OK , the real truth is that the the 32 Skater is not a wide tunnel cat like the larger ones. I would be very intereted to hear Rich's opinion and how many of each he has owned or driven so we get a real feeling of the seat time in both.

IT is with great sadness that I inform you of my absence until January 12th...... I have somehow been keel hauled to Tahiti...where I will be forced to endure tropical sunshine, scuba, relaxation and good fellowship. If an emergency occurs in my absence ....call Steve David, Brownie, or Linder , each of whom can fill any intellectual vacuums created..... In case of a "real" emergency call Shane or Troutly.

I'd like to tell you I'll be thinking of OSO every minute while I'm away......but I cannot compromise my integrity.

Somehow I think I'll survive..................

Happy New Year to all.

I agree. I was also very offended by oso's post using OUR fourm to sell his boat. Geesh... some people

I would step up to the 36 . If you buy the 32 after 6 months yull wish you had the 36.I am wishing I went with a cat now.You might want to ck on Insurance on the cat. Its bad.

ive allways liked the sleek profile of v hulls . the gladiator is a stunning looking boat by any ones standards BUT can you imagine spending all that cash; and on your first trip out the skater goes past you like your standing still; and your allready flat out ? i went to the states in june looking for a 31 bullet and brought a 32 active thunder which is similar to the skater and ive NEVER been out in either boat !!!!!

I have a 2002 Skater 32 classic twin 300x's
I run in Long Island Sound from CT to Block Island RI. 2 to 4 foot almost every day.
The boat has always made me feel safe.
Very dry ride
Fuel economy is excellent.
The ride quality is very smooth at 76 MPH and up.
The build quality is excellent. (Zero stress cracks @200 hours)
Factory support has been EXCELLENT.
A sit down boat allows you to put pressure on your shoulder blades if you have Skater type foot pads. This keeps your spine from being compressed.

The boat will not cruise 45-74 MPH, it has and uncomfortable hop.
