The day of the DSM Poker run was a good example. It was very rough that day, and the cats that ran did not finish near the front. The only boat in front of me was Kenny in his 42 Tiger.

SS930,

We are talking about a 32' Skater not a 36'-46'.

In true 5 foot seas a gladiator is going to give you a safer ride every time. How many of you have run a 32 skater in this big a water. A true 5 foot sea is big and I love skaters but the bottom line is that a 32 will require a serious committment to not get out of shape and kill someone. I have had my boat in 5 foot seas and all I can say is yikes. NK

BTW These are not the 5' seas.;)

36 and 32 are very different boats and priced accordingly.

I have the same Skater as John B. and I also had a cig. for 4 years and I would never go back. A friend of mine has the new 38 TS which I have driven numerous times in a lot of different conditions and I would still never go back!!!!

John
What motors have you decided on for the new Skater?

Like I said, 32 and 36 are different. :)

IMHO...
I say a 32 Skater will trash that 36 Cig in MOST common conditions. Agreed, big water the Cig will rule... but how often are you going to see those conditions???

Now the 36 Skater on the other hand will embarrass the 36 Cig in nearly EVERY scenario.
