A little salesmanship there, unless this thing is a cat and I missed it. I did not even take hp out for the tranny. Still a nice rig after your done buying space shuttles and all the other toys!

I belive thats the boat I saw about 4 years at the wooden boat show in South Haven Michigan. It looked similar and had an Arneson drive. If so, pictures do it no justice.

I had the good fortune to see the boat under construction in Boyne City and later watch it run where I boat on Lake Charlevoix. Stunning is an excellent description. It almost seemed a shame to risk putting something so beautiful in the water!

One cool detail is how the engine hatch lifts and then slides back electrically. The lift is accomplished using a modified Land & Sea outboard hydro-electric transom jack. Very creative folks and excellent craftsman. When running, it is seriously loud.

Why don't we just start calling them BONER boats, although I suspect that is an accurate description of any boat over 30' with twin big blocks.

It’s a true cold molded wood boat.

They built a wooden frame (all designed on a 3D cad system) and laminated the mahogany planks to it under vacuum.

There are also two separate exhaust systems in the boat, one that runs in a muffler stage, and the other is a straight pipe arrangement.

There is a tremendous amount of detail in the boat. Everything is well thought out in the boat and it shows, both in the boat and the recognition it has garnered.

I did the original 23' Alpha Z for the same owner. He is the most exacting and fastidious person that I have ever been around. His thoroughness shows in this beauty. Can't wait to see what he does next!
