Impressive finishes but not for me.
Also I think it was in the high $700k for a 31 ft boat, if I had that scratch for a boat we talking RRider. By the time that rig gets to where we're going and bangs itself into a slip (nice rudder) we'd be half drunk and could sleep it off in our boat. |
oh . . and it goes 103mph   and you should see the trailer that holds this thing. its every bit as cool as the boat is. just one of those things ya hatfa see in person :D

Wow! absolutely beautiful, really nice........the only place I can think of for that boat however would be a yacht tender or the 60ish guy who uses it for an evening cruise for him and the misses from their 10million dollar waterside home/resort.......better be good because it would be a biotch to dock.......stunning boat though....doug

arneson drive and rudder are alot diff than say a bravo
|
I belive thats the boat I saw about 4 years at the wooden boat show in South Haven Michigan. It looked similar and had an Arneson drive. If so, pictures do it no justice.

I had the good fortune to see the boat under construction in Boyne City and later watch it run where I boat on Lake Charlevoix. Stunning is an excellent description. It almost seemed a shame to risk putting something so beautiful in the water!
One cool detail is how the engine hatch lifts and then slides back electrically. The lift is accomplished using a modified Land & Sea outboard hydro-electric transom jack. Very creative folks and excellent craftsman. When running, it is seriously loud. |

I think I read an arcticle about that thing in Playboy:cool:

is that a laminate over fiberglass or a true wood boat?
|
It’s a true cold molded wood boat.
They built a wooden frame (all designed on a 3D cad system) and laminated the mahogany planks to it under vacuum. There are also two separate exhaust systems in the boat, one that runs in a muffler stage, and the other is a straight pipe arrangement. There is a tremendous amount of detail in the boat. Everything is well thought out in the boat and it shows, both in the boat and the recognition it has garnered. |
thrill your such a liar... like you read the articles!!
maybe exercise your forearms!!! :D :p |
I did the original 23' Alpha Z for the same owner. He is the most exacting and fastidious person that I have ever been around. His thoroughness shows in this beauty. Can't wait to see what he does next!
