Ouch! Good thing it wasn't a Dodge. It would have gone thru it and got your other vehicle! 
Yeah, they will put on a new cab and you'll never know it. Just bolt ons. A buddy of mine specalizes in rebuilds. He can pull a complete cab in 1 hr.
I've seen them replace cabs and beds in worse shape on older trucks before Ins. will totally them out.
