A man named Twister Wascom told me he was once being chased by the police.

He sped up, the cop sped up. he finally pulled over. The cop asked if he did not see the lights flashing, etc.

Twister replies 'yes sir, I did, and I got scared. The cop says 'Scared???'

Twister says yes, I was pulled over in this same area a couple of weeks ago. In fact, my wife ran off with the cop the next day!!!!

The officer then asks 'Well, why were you scared????'

Twister replied 'I thought you were him, trying to bring her back.....'

Hey Foul, not only do we randomly run plates of cars we get behind. We also randomly pick cars and follow them for no appearant reason just to see them get really nervous. Its amazing how much fun that can be on a slow boring night.

If a cop is behind me, and they routinely are, the only thing I do is watch my speed.
In Florida it's acceptable to drive 5 mph over the limit. If your over that a cop can/will write you for everything above the limit.
Of course this courtesy is applicable to residents only. Tourists are fair game.

I had "the man" pass me going about 90 one night... So I stepped it up to about 85 or so...just cruzin' behind him about 200-300ft.
Then he moves to the right, as if he was going to exit. So I lift off to about 75 or so. Then he jumps in behind me and pulls me over.
FYI we were nearing the "station house" where "the man" is based out of.

He asked me where I was going in such a hurry. I told him I was going back to the office to drop off my work vehicle and get my car to go home.... "probably the same thing as you."
He chuckled and said, yeah well, I guess we both need to settle down. Have a nice evening.

Flippin' cops think that car gives them the right to drive and behave however they like.
