what kills me is guys who buy boats that are not fast hulls and want to go fast!!!!! and spend stupid money and try stupid tricks to eek out a mph or 1.5. I dont get it.
I am not saying that guys who dont run their boats hard and try little things to get max performance are in this category.

I guess I am saying I dont get it when a guy buys a boat, wants to do 90+ all day and chooses a boat that clearly was never designed to do it. Then spends ungodly amounts on unreliable power and parts to make the attempt reality. When infact he could have bought a slicker hull, put in less power and acheived his goal

Like a Honda. Sure, it can beat a real car, but with the 30k in engine work alone, you could have bought a vette and it looks and sounds better. (Just once saturn excluded from this statement)

I know your not specifically pickin on me, but what you are talking about, were my intentions for a long time, I am going to sell this one, and buy a Fast Boat instead, it seems like a losing battle trying to keep the old one up, and make it faster at the same time.
