I think it's an awesome idea and we should already be there. They never should have tappered off the space program like they did!

I agree with some.. We should already be there.. Look in the late 60's and early 70's we walked on the Moon and retrieved a Communist sub from 17000 feet down Hell the Russian sonar did not even go that deep BTW what happened??
It's not just the program and technical feed back into the civilian sector ;You have the training of thousands of new Engineers our best and brightest.
The Employing of a Army of Subcontractors and their workforces.
Plus the excitement of exploring the unknown and what wondrous discovery's will be made out there!!
