Any other 28 footer is welcome to the challenge(1 or 2 motors, it don't matter) As long as it's rough I have no doubt about who will get there first.

This should stir things up alittle more!

That would be a blast! Count us in. Let's get 5 or 6 boats going. Terrah could get all the team involved a free hotel for the event and write up a good story on it.

Okay guys, since the chit is getting deep...
How do you think your bat boats stack up to a 28 Skater (since we're comparing apples to oranges) with say twin 280 OB's??? How about a 32 Skater with twin 300x's?

BTW, the 28 will run about 115mph and the 32 about 100mph.

Very nice SS. I'm thinking right along with you on this one.(apples/Oranges) However the 28 cat won't do the rough like the Vs will....

Mr offshore.

I think it's time we put this all to a rest. I am VERY looking forward to this event. The only single engine V-hull I would consider to be a challenge would be a bat boat, but I'm still putting my money where my mouth is.

Warpaint

You don't even have to win to have one of my girls sit on your lap, you just have to ask. If you win I would be glad to serve you drinks all day, I would even do it in a skirt! (Now that's confidence)

REMEMBER. It's gotta be big water!

MrOffshore/ if you want to use the Chesapeake you could drop them in on the NE River at Anchor Marina, go next door to the Nauti Goose for lunch. Head down the river to Turkey Point and down the bay to Jelly Fish or keep going to Red Eyes where they have slips, hotel and the entertainment is just simply marvelous!

Yellowbird

A new Activator is about $70,000 with a 500efi and an XR-drive. There are faster boats in calm water.

Thumbs up show us your stuff upfront

It's not all about speed in rough water my friends. My 28 Joker is as long as a 33ft boat from steering wheel to tip of the bow. 5 bulkheads /stringers in the deck and all wrapped in kevlar. We can run with the best of them . Get this event organized , all I hear on here is long distant runs , etc. It never materializes - BH

OK- I'll leave my AT at home for this and show up with a 28 that will smoke all of you- this baby literally flies!!!!
150 mph, 12 gph, on 270 hp, comfortably riding above all that chop.
I'll take photos of you re-arranging your vertebrae.
