Also, do the math on ticket sales (a small part of the pie). Super Dome held 75,000 people and tickets were $150. That is $11,250,000. Tickets were selling for between $750 and $1500, so the organisers could EASILY get $500 face value if they wanted. Thats $37.5 million they could get just from ticket sales in a small stadium like the Super Dome. Then there are TV rights, souvenir sales, endorsements...
Yep both schools could REALLY benefit, but that isn't what the NCAA wants.:mad:
