painting int cabin

has anyone ever painted the bar area of older boats, i have a fountain w/black wanting to change to white.any help would be deeply apeciated.

are you talking about top surfaces like counter tops and is it fiberglass? how big is the area you want to paint?

its looks like covered wood, smooth not textured. i think paint would stick to it with a adheisev promoter.

What about taking it apart, and wrapping the surfaces in white vinyl?

i would try PPG's epoxy primers ,DP-48 if you going with white topcoat. maybe use one of there acrylic polyurathanes or somthing like DCC Concept single stage. good luck :cool:
