John has been building the 24 Superboat for a long time as well. Either way they are the same hull.

I'm not sure on this, but I don't think either was the first to use this hull.

You may be right, I don't remember. Either way, neither Pantera nor Superboat originated that hull.

This 24' hull is probably the best 24' to date IMHO.

Default hey

Easy on the Black beauty its mine, and if you move Quick its not to bad in the sun. As for the 24 hull the first was p&d , the only diff between superboat and pantera are the bottom strakes, superboats run the full length of the hull. The black 28 now has a 860hp motor and spins a 31pitch at 6000 rpm with a full tank

I used to own a 24' Superboat and I think it was a 7' beam. A buddy had a Pantera and his boat seemed bigger.

I always thought there was a 24' Excaliber then the P&D was splashed

Man, that is one nice Pantera! The sun must be a b1tch with that thing. More details and pics please!

I believe that Superboat also added a small pad to there version of the hull. I think the Superboats are also a few pounds lighter. For these reasons, I believe the Superboat 24 runs 1-2mph faster than Pantera's 24 with all things being equal.
