OT - Are there any plumbers in the house?
My kitchen faucet has recently developed a problem. When I have the tap on hot it only comes out in a thin stream. This started last week. What gives? It sure makes cleaning the dishes a royal b!tch when only a teaspoon of hot water comes out per minute!!! My poor wife can't take it any more!!! (just kidding...) Any advice would be appreciated.

.. I am not a plumber but I play one on OSO.. Sounds like the valve is full of something... Some faucets are capable of being rebuilt.. Take the hot side apart and see if there is anything in it.. and try replacing the valve assembly.. Worked for me when I had a similar thing happen.

Yes, those shallow wells in CH are a problem. You see mud and gravel out the faucet sometimes don't you. Just kidding. You know the drill, take it apart, find the problem or make it worse, and then buy a new faucet Just pretend it is an out drive

Faucets are so cheap these days, a good one (American Standard or Kohler) will run you <$150. I'd skip the rebuild and just go to your local Home Depot or Lowes and get a nice new one. Unless the one you have is really nice and expensive, then try and rebuild it, but it sounds like something got into the hot water feed and is plugging it up. It will take you as long to put in a new one as it will to tear the current one apart to figure it all out and if it is messed up, it was just wasted time. Maybe consider a filter on the feed line if you have hard or particle-laden water?

contact the manufacturer.
some have extended/lifetime warrenties and will ship you new parts free.
could just be hard water deposits in the airator.

Could be a block in your hot water tank but than You'd have no pressure at any of your faucetts or shower. If its in the airator ir screen the cold would do the same. Prolly either clogged valve or valve screw came loose and is only opening a fraction of the way.
