Hey man, great looking cover! I'll tell you that you will never ever regret spending the money on a full cover like that. It looks great! It's nice to be able to travel or store the boat and know that it is protected. Even better is that after storage, or when you get where you are going, the boat is perfectly clean, just like when you covered it up. You are gonna love it! Here is the one on my old Top Gun again.

Yeah, now she looks so good that I don't want to sell her! Polished lowers, flame arrestors, etc., etc. plus the stereo upgrade to follow makes it hard to sell.
Unless something happens soon, I'll be keeping her for the rest of the season.
You will be the first to know if we start the stereo project! How soea the week before Memorial day sound for an install? Of course we will have to field test the system.

An update:
I am leaving to pick the boat up this afternoon.
I asked him about the pricing again, and it is as follows:
$600 to make the replacement cockpit cover
$2500 to make the full cover from scratch.
He said this was the first boat this size they had done, and so the next ones would probably go a lot quicker, therefore could be less money.
These guys do phenomenal work. They build tarps for grain hauling semi's and are used to over-building everything. The covers will probably outlast the boat!
If anyone is interested, it is DEFINITELY worth the haul to Colby, Ks. The money you save on these covers can more than pay for the fuel.
I am going to post some more detailed photos when I get her back.
