Paging SCOPE guys
I am looking for pics of an all red 38' Larry Smith Scarab from So Cal. It was owned by Sean Mcwinney at Sunset Aquatic and then was sold a few years ago. I think the new owner named it "Blood Vessel". It had a unique deck on it. Not the usual flat deck.
Ran in the Catalina race for awhile.
Do you guys have anything on that boat? Looking for some good pics. Thanks.

Blood Vessel was named by Sean....it was an Eddie Morenz built 38 Scarab with Turbo engines and #6 drives...no cabin...just the basics. I am not sure if Larry Smith was involved with Eddie when the boat was built??? The boat was bullt in 95 or 96.
Sean kept it a couple of years and then donated the boat to charity. Have not seen the boat since 96 or 97. The boat ran good but I think the engines were a problem. No pictures available
Good luck.
