So, you all think another $5000 bucks would make this motor drop in ready to run?

Sweet! Could any shop do the final assembly work or should this be taken to someone like for instance Teague Marine?

Dude Bruce, Whoa, you know your s h i t !
I only know what half that stuff is!

So running the numbers we have a 725hp non-blower motor for around 16,000. Hypothetically, you could whipple/pro-charge it for another 7,000 and have a 1000 hp motor for 23,000.

hhhhmmmmm.

So, who is going to be first to buy one of these things? I'm not walking the plank first!

Dont forget shipping..Probably about 300.00

Ive blown enuff motors to know what they cost to replace

I dont think you'de be able to whipple or procharge. the compression ratio is probably too high. I would assume somewhere around 9.5:1

And yes..any decent HP marine mechanic can dress the motor for you. But I would see if the motor builder can quote you on a complete drop in package.

I think the 572s are new blocks. if you requested a new block, it should only add about 500 to 750 to that number. A brand new bare block is around $1,900 before honing and decking
