that's crazy.. but the fuel dock at .25 more per gallon is cheap when you take everything into account for EPA rules and regs.. state fees.. tank repalce.. wildlife fund.. water clean-up.. etc etc.. the money thatmade ona fuel dock isn't as much as on land..

WHOSNEXT 01-17-2004 12:49 PM

SAILBOAT TIME??????? I rather pay $10.00 a gal!!!!!LOL

McGary911 01-17-2004 01:40 PM

$10 will separate me from my cash

Waterfoul 01-17-2004 01:47 PM

.25 more on the water? Wish it was only .25 more around here. It's usually closer to .50-.60 more on the water.

HyperBaja 01-17-2004 02:43 PM

I plan to get rid of a V6 and upgrade this winter :)

I need to contribute to global warming, it is snowing here now.

mopower 01-17-2004 02:51 PM

It's only money:rolleyes:

I filled my truck Monday for 1.39 for diesel...just can home from the same station and filled it for 1.55.
So I mention to the guy "Boy this really took a jump"
He sez it's because of the cold snap and they're all making home heating oil. SO TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE IN WHAT I'M USING:confused:   :hothead:

No road tax...that's about all:mad:

"See dad, we are paying 3.00 either way, why not get there faster? It is more environmentally protective, the less it is running, the less it will burn through, this is why speed is good"

I guess a few Apache owners believe it is entirely possible. The classifieds are loading up big Apaches for sale.

I would do the same if I owned an Apache. For another reason of course.

I just may put a pair of V-6 motors in the Cigarette. Just idling around can be fun, especially if we trailer it to Hammond every weekend.

impulsive 01-17-2004 07:13 PM

You could always attach a sail until prices come down;)

That's what I was thinking!

GO4BROKE 01-17-2004 08:14 PM

Doesn't matter, I'll bend over and pay it. Gotta go boating!

GO4BROKE 01-17-2004 08:16 PM

Man, that link is the land of the pop ups.

They predicted the same crap last year.

$3.00 a gallon is a lot better than the 3.50 a gallon they got me for in the Bahamas!

simon johnston 01-18-2004 05:00 AM

$7:00 a gallon here.........still gotta go boating ; although you don't go on any major trips here !!! no rebates cos your useing it on the water; all though you can get MARINE DIESEL for $1:80 a gallon....... WHY ? you ask...... because the government cronies don't go power boating they own motor cruisers which surprise surprise run on...... you guessed it DIESEL !!!!

Selling an Apache because they are expensive to operate is one thing. Implying that there are better deep v's is nonsense.
