Saturday was a georgeous day, 75, sunny, mild breezes.

Got a bunch of OSO'ers together and hit the water.

Thanks guys, it was good to see all of you yesterday!

Below, Steve and Gordo:

I get a shot at driving the little rocket: 22 Velocity with a healthy small block.

Steve and I got 75.1 out of her yesterday, but she's got more in her.

What a wild ride. :D

That Homo Gordo called me and rubbed it in while he was out in the boat........It was about 35 and raining here all day................I hope he got a bad sunburn!!! :):)

Russ, yes you do! It's been great! What happened to Cuda?????

TFLB, :p
Gordo tried, but I think he his hangover provided ample sun repellant. :D :D :D

Cuda said he blew a tranny...............hell I thought he liked women??????

CigDaze 01-18-2004 11:07 AM

Man, tough luck for Cuda. :(
That sucks! Sorry to hear.

Hey daze, Tow your boat here we can see how she handles hard water!

C_Spray 01-18-2004 11:41 AM

Hijackers!! This is nothing more than a cheap spin-off of my "22 Velocity" thread. I'm suing!!!:hothead: :hothead: ;)

Nick - I can't believe that you actually found time to look at the speedo. Or did you re-set the "max speed"?

Steve's looking for his beer, but forgot that he left it on the foredeck.

I gotta admit, that's funny! Guess I'll have to be more careful of my wording.:)

cuda 01-18-2004 11:50 AM

Nick, where did you go out from? We put in a Park Blvd.

CigDaze 01-18-2004 12:38 PM

mfb357/Troutly, the only thing hard water is good for is in my Dewars. :) I thinkk the boat would have a serious list on that 'white' water, you know, being on it's side and all.....:D

Chuck, I knew exactly what speed we were going when it said 60-something, but I had no clue whatsoever that we were above 70, because I became really busy, real quick, if you know what I mean ;) Yes, Steve reset the tattle-tale on the GPS and it wasn't until we slowed, we knew what she said.
My hands were pretty cramped-up after 15 minutes. :D

Cuda, we put in at Anclote State Park ramps. Not bad, but man what a current. If you quit blowing your trannies, they might just run better. :p :D
Sorry to hear about the break-down. :(

Yes, I've put in there before with my fishboat. I had to do a crash landing to get to the dock.:)

CigDaze 01-18-2004 12:47 PM

The funny part is, that at that ramp, there's a hotdog vendor and about a dozen older folks hanging out in their lawn chairs, just watching the entertainment. It can get ugly.

I know EXACTLY what you mean!

I don't think that I lasted any longer than that myself. That head-on shot in post #6 really shows the water ski grafted to the bottom of the boat...

CBlakeNS 01-18-2004 07:40 PM

Eeer all these boating post make me want to go boating so bad, cold weather sucks I hate winter!!

CigDaze 01-19-2004 07:02 AM

I figured you would, Chuck. :)

I'm sure it, does Blake.

Cuda, dry-launching, Hmmm...I'm not familiar with that technique. :D :D :D

skatermike24 01-19-2004 07:13 AM

CigDaze 01-19-2004 07:18 AM

Hey Mike!!!!!
Good to see you around. Yep, that's how it's spelled...Cool, it's always a CRAZY fun time.

Brings lots of beeds. :D  ;)

Wardey 01-19-2004 07:55 AM

Daze - Good to see you guy's again. We will have to do it again. Dave

skatermike24 01-19-2004 08:14 AM

Nick give me details , will you guys be out, isn't it on Saturday the 7th

CigDaze 01-19-2004 08:22 AM

The official website is not available yet, but here's a little information:
http://news.tbo.com/news/MGA7BYMULOD.html

This one is going to be awesome, 100th anniversary.

We have no details yet on our whereabouts duting the festival....I would highly NOT recommend bringing your boat. Try to get on someone else's if at all possible, because I know of tons of horror stories.

Oh ya, did I mention to bring beeds! :D :D
