Financing for Cat's

What banks out there will finance Cat's? I've been looking around and most will not or will only do a short term loan.

Thanks:confused:

you might try Bank of America, they loaned me the money on my boat i have now[v hull] but they were also going to loan me the money for a 28 daytona with twin big blocks , it was the insurance that keep me from getting that boat, good luck

National City did my 28 Daytona, no survey and 100% of purchase price. It did take them about a week to approve.

100% of purchase price?

My Daytona was at Bank of America and I switched to Fifth-Third.

jdnca1 - Thanks for the business.

I just did the finance thing on a V Hull at 6.4% through National City. They were awesome to deal with.

Insurance

I would not worry about where to get the loan until you have insurance.

jdnca1 01-20-2004 10:42 AM

Depends on the amount and your credit, have seen 5.50% on 100K+, 5.75% on 50-99K 15-20 yr term.

I totally agree with Expresscat on the insurance issue. If you plan to insure with anything bigger than 500's, get the lube out because you will definately need it. The premiums are ridiculous and the deductables are very high. PM me for details....

Financing a Cat

Devon
What are you thinking of buying and where? You just got rid of a cat, who financed that one ? Most dealers that sell them can get them financed. I had two thru Bank of America and the eliminator I have now is thru Wells Fargo. Good luck!!:D :D
