The OC race was nice, but its hard to beat the venue in Cambridge. I understand from a racers point of view it may leave something to be desired especially for those who like it rough. But the hotel is very nice, access by land and water, great spectator area on shore or in the water. Its just about as good as it gets, locally anyway.

Cambridge is the best venue for a calm water race. We aren't talking about changing that, just adding OC to this list.

PLUS SOB racing in Cambridge!

OPA 2004 Schedule:
Brick,NJ - June 26,27
Atlantic City,NJ - July 18,19
Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ - Aug. 12,13
L.I. / CONN. Area - Aug. 28,29
Cambridge, MD - Sept. 25,26
Delaware River Area - Oct. 9,10
Key West, Florida - Nov. 7 - 14 with SBI for the World Championships

The Deleware race is being supported by both Camden and Philly. You'll be able to watch from the Battleship New Jersey. I don't know much more than that.
PLUS SOB racing in at this race too.

A/C will be OPA's biggest event with over 50 boats.

This should be a great season for OPA.

Okay, make you a deal Ron. You want rough water?
We'll take all the Boyz down to Bubba's Chili hut on Sunday morning for breakfast. Then we'll line them all up on the bridge just before the race and re-enact the campfire scene from "Blazing Saddles".

Voila - 4 to 6 footers on the river for the rest of the afternoon.
