I picked up a real estate flyer at the Boat show over the weekend and there was a lot listed in there!! I remember it because they were asking $136,500.00 for the lot!!!

I didn't know they were sooooo much?? Can I ask why?? and where is Port-a-cima?? I've been going to the lake all my life and it doesn't ring a bell!!!!!

Porta Cima is right by the new bridge on the west side. Story has it that Four Season donated the land to the state where the bridge lands on the west side. In exchange, the state built the roads and financed the bridge (to be repaid with tolls). It was one of the last large pieces of undeveloped land in that part of the lake. Four Seasons then then built the Jack Nicolaus golf course, Townhouses, and exclusive lake front houses. They start at about 14 mile cove and go on around the bend. That's part of the reason Party cove moved, and Family cove (cove right past the bridge where cruisers used to hang out) gets a no anchor rule. The new homeowners are rather uppity about boats parked in front of their places. Before the bridge and road improvement, that part of the lake was too hard to get to by land so there was not much development. That all changed with the bridge.
