Hello, I am a marine surveyor and I beleive that the moisture meter should have picked up the moisture in the transom. The meter shows a reading when it comes across very very minor moisture. If the transom was soaked the meter would have went off the scale.....................I handle surveys in NJ PA MD DE VA. I specialize in High Performance boats and offer oil analyses compression tests, moisture testing etc. I hate to see a buyer get beat on a boat. It does not happen with my services......If you know anyone in my area that needs a survey please pass my info on.. Thanks
