I did the same and sent an e-mail to RonP and he sent one right out to me......but I don't rush out to my mail box to look for then anymore

Hmmmmm It started out as a good idea. I wonder what's up?

I never recived my 2 free issues so I mailed them and asked what was going on. They told me they don´t ship to Denmark ! Next day issue number 3 is in my mail box I then sign up for a one year subscribsion only to have my money returned to me 3 days later with the message they don´t ship to Denmark. Now 5 month down the line I run into a fellow boater who lives 15 miles from where I live, he tells me he has been getting the magazine for the last 6 months. Now what is up with that ?
Ron even said he would look into it and have someone get back to me but that never happened. Ron if you are out there what is going on ?

I"ve gotten all mine, but I don't live in Denmark!!! All but the last one , which arrived in plastic, were torn up. Still waiting for my T- shirt , I'll call it growing pains.

I received my first issue and my t-shirt and that was it, i hope it wasn't a scam.:hothead:

I have the first 5 issues and a T-Shirt. However, I have not received issue 6. I seems like more than two months since I got issue 5. I was wondering myself what was going on. When I get the next issue I will come back to this thread and see if everyone else has it.

I don't know what has happened to my issues, i think someone at the post office has them, i also have not got my In the Wind and Easyrider until i complained. One issue each and notta.

NO One at the Post Office has them, I only read them, I don't keep them :p

that would be fine, but i want them, at least they didn't keep my t-shirt. Cap keep my bills too.:D

I don't mind you reading them, but please, stop tearing up the pages...

I haven't received a Hot Boat Mag yet without something torn or ripped. I wish they would seal 'em up...:(

i received 5 mags so far and in the last issues plastic wrapper they sent a renewal saying it was up for renewal ? ha 5 issues and that is it they said 10 per year ron what is up with this?

The mags get ripped going through the sortation machines :eureka: I see it happening all the time they need to be in approved sealed bags

Is that why my Playboy always comes with the pages stuck together?:D

Hey Guys. Things are improving every month. If you want the newest issue, I'll have tons of them at the OSO party in Richmond.

We only ship to the USA and Canada. You won't get them overseas yet because of the cost of shipping.

Any subscription problems should be sent directly to
[email protected], you'll find things get worked out rather quickly if you send an email to them. We definitely had some problems with early subscribers. Today things are running very smoothly.

i've sent them photos of my boat.there was a member here who i forgot the name now cause it has been long time.he told me that will put my boats pics to the mag.

I sent an email... again... Let's see if they try to straighten out these issues.. I could understand some issues with a startup... but watching the forums, they seem to drag on for far too long... and I'm sure there are more problems like ours that never get voiced...

Extreme Mag... you have a good quality magazine... let's get the customer service up to standard and beyond.. It's much easier and cheaper to keep a customer than to find a new one. Good news travels fast, but bad news travels faster.

Reading the forum over and over about issues with your magazine, I'd start to be concerned with how many people will renew their subscriptions???

Let's start with our OSO family, it's a good anchor community to support your effort.

Like everyone in this group that start up a boating related business or run one, I envy you, want to support you and wish you the best of luck.

As for our mailings, the last two issues have been sent out in sealed plastic bags to insure their safe delivery to our subscribers mail boxes. I'm sure many people can attest to receiving these over the last few months.

I'm tired of waiting, it's no (OSO) discount if you can't get what ou pay for on time or without calling.... it could be a good mag if they got it together.

Mike, I followed up about your situation and this is what I learned.

We send Mike an email asking him what he wanted – his choice – 1) we can give him the magazine for a year or 2) we can give him his money back – very simple – then this.

With this dammed cold weather we're having, I need all the magazines I can get my hands on to keep in mind that one day there will be a summer!!!!

Can't remember last time we were above freezing...

Got my new PRATHER Wacker Boat, now I just need the lakes to turn liquid again!!!

I haven't heard any complaints about the magazine itself, mostly positive to be honest, all I've heard is with delivery and billing issues. With the right dedication, these areas should be the easy and more enjoyable areas to deal with...

Now if only I could get them to send the magazine outside the US and Canada things woud be good and the winter a little shorter. Just let us guys on the other side of the pond know how much extra a subscribtion would cost us over here and we can decide what too much is. I get 3 other magazines from the US with no problems what is so different about Extreme Boats Magazine that it can+t be send to europe ? Let me know the extra cost and let me decide if I want it or not !
