Default Best place to spot Performance boats in Fort Lauderdale :-)

Hi guys me and my absolute bettr half, are as we speak in Fort Lauderdale

Glad for any tip regarding power/performance boat things to do or see in Fort Lauderdale

I think the 80's. Everything is center consoles now.

Hahah!!! 80's!!! Thats great and also true unfortunately. I was there two weeks ago.its a better place to check out some mega yachts to be honest. If your there on Sunday go down to haulover Inlet. Maybe see some there.

Go to Fastboats.com on Federal Hwy, there will be a few in their showroom and a few more on the rack out back.......

Shooters & Bootleggers back in the day was a sight to be seen.
Today its a dead issue.

Thank you guys for the replies and tips :-)
We spent the day on the canals and had a good lunch at 15 th street fisheries & Dockside Cafe (beside the marina). Good place to see boats when they dock to fuel. Actually there was a Formula Fastech 353 laying long side at the restaurant :-) and a Cig and a Fountain filled up their tanks.
We had dinner at the Shooters, rebuild this year, had to wait 45 minutes in the bar to get a table, absolutely not dead. Nice atmosphere and good food.



We missed Fastboats, it close at 4 pm Saturday's

We had a great day

A. 45 minute wait behind old ladies and tourists means it was dead
B. You never went for the food
C. Back in the day there would be dozens of offshores tied to the dock......how many did you see?
D. How was the bikini contest by the pool?
