Boat Rental Needed Tampa Area!

I will coming down to the Tampa area the end of February. Does anyone have a connection for renting a boat... I don't feel like dragging mine down.

Does not have to be big but an offshore of some sort. I have never been out in the ocean and would like to go.

Recommendation needed.

Unfortunately, you will not find any offshore boat rental places around here. The cost, liability and insurance simply won't allow it.

You can however rent any number of fishing boats and deckboats from almost anywhere here.

Try Tierra Verde marina. They have a decent selection of boats at rates that won't kill you. The location is great also.

Call Buccaneer Boats or Jacks Rentals Both are in Madeira Beach , FL. They have boats for rental. As Nick has stated your not going to find any Go Fast but htey have some nice little run abouts.

I recall Home Port marina advertising boat rentals

We will be renting out boats for the race there next year, about the only fastboat rentals in the country, and yes the insurance is amazingly high.

we are thinking about Beach House Suites by the Don Cesar... In St Pete. Will my insurance on my boat cover me on the boat I rent? I know it works with the car insurance if you AMEX you get automatic coverage???

Even a cruiser will be fine it would just be great to be able to get out and run a bit.

Tierra Verde Marina has some boat rentals as well that would be very close to the Don Ceasar.

The water there can be fun either way. Also, try to run down to Sanibel, a great place to eat and have a good time, accessible by boat.

Cabbage Key is another eclectic place to stop by!
