_____________________________________________

Richbrau Brewing Company in Richmond, VA, has set up something great for us; again! They are giving us the entire West Wing of their establishment, with pool tables, totally to us for the reserved time slot. After our reserved section ends around 9pm, the entire establishment is at our disposal including the restaurant, nightclub with dance floor, more pool tables, and several bars. This is a brewery, so their rules, not mine: 21 and over only. As like last year, drinks and any individually ordered items would be on your own tabs. This worked great last year. As eloquently stated above by OSO/CBPBA member Bill Love… This is “A big azz party for go-fast boaters to break up the winter blues.”
Break out your Boating Apparel in the middle of winter and talk horsepower and swimsuits. For some of you, this will be a haul, but this will be ABSOLUTELY worth the effort.

This party planning gets very sticky, and especially so with such a widespread crowd and the fact I am not doing this close to my home. I foresee this being around $25 or less per person. I will know in the coming weeks and send an update out.

Remember, I am not doing this for a profit.

Any leftover cash will be used to defer costs of any more food and possibly refreshments for the evening, and anything above that will be donated to a fitting charity. Please don't complain about the cover charge. This is not a lot of money for what you are getting. There will be giveaways/door prizes and other incentives, (see below).

Here is what I need from EVERYONE.

I need your RSVP via email to [email protected]
WITH THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ATTENDING. I will only accept RSVPs via this email address, as I cannot keep track of several bulletin boards. If you already have emailed me with a number, please do so again, as then I can have them on all one current
list.

Book your hotel by calling the hotel directly. Both hotels have blocks reserved. Both hotels have indoor heated swimming pools, so bring your swimsuits.

Just like last year:
I will personally cover the Cover Charge and Drinks for the three farthest traveling OffshoreOnly.com members. If you bring your significant other, I will cover them too.

Giveaways/door prizes last year included:
-Reindl Powerboats… ˝ Day of Bat Boat Race School.
-OffshoreOnly.com… hats, shirts, halter tops, and swimsuits.
-Freezeframe Video… 3 GREAT DVDs.
-Poker Runs America… PRA jacket; other apparel.
-Phoenix Custom Apparel made and donated some great custom OSO shirts.
-Offshore Performance… shirts and goodies.
-CBPBA… apparel and chair/coolers.
-RPBA… ˝ price entry for their 2003 Poker Run.
-HRPA… ˝ price entry for their 2003 Poker Run.
-Atomic Heat Swimwear… swimsuits.
-Chief Engines… shirts and hats.
-BAM Marine… apparel.
-Outlaw Motorsports… two sizeable gift certificates.
-Maryland Offshore… gift certificate.
-Whipple Superchargers… hats and shirts.
-Doller Offshore… shirts and hats.
-AudioFN/Jon… Clarion Marine Stereo System.
-Jacksonville Firefighters Rally… 60 shirts!

SEE YOU THERE!!!!!

Last year it was 170+/- People!!!!! And I do believe EVERYONE went home with at least something, from a T-shirt to a Grand Prize 4 Hour Reindl Bat-Boat Racing School Session. [/B]
The only thing that I went home with was a hangover!!!

Yea Craig, me too.....I was a little wobbly the next day. Did anyone ever make it to the pool? That was the next mission of the night. I remember saying We're going to our room for a few minutes, we'll meet you there."

Unfortunatly, work forced me to miss last year, (even though I had to pay for the hotel room). I hope to make it this year.

Would not miss it for the world. Its in ink on the calander. No, we never made it in the pool last year, they either make better locks or the plastic cards don't pop the way they used to.
