I agree, do not ship heavy items with UPS. It will probably get damaged and they are too expensive for the heavy stuff.

Last year I bought a TRS drive from MikeJ, (thanks Mike!) he shipped it www.forwardair.com from LA to Boston for just under a hundred bucks. simple and cheap. No problem.

I tend to thing there is more to this. Cobra Power has a very good reputation.
