We went all the way to California from New Jersey, for the first race of the 1980 season (P class), came in first and here is what we got! Think you guys have it tough now?

Nice piece of nostalgia for the history buffs. Bet there are a ton of memories to go with it.

You headed to Miami for the show and festivities?? I'm gonna definately be there with Chrisk. In fact, staying at his place now while looking for work in Florida. So if you know of anything, I am willing to explore all avenues.

Here is a picture of a $ 50.00 check My Father received for first place at the OPBRA MIAMI race in February 1978.

We have it hanging on our wall here at the office and decided not to cash it.

Did he race P class? My dad ran the throttles on "Great Adventure" in 1978. Ran P class in a 28' Cigarette, "Wings" he built new in 1979.
