Poll...Off Topic section, do you care?
 

Not too long ago the old Current Affairs forum was changed into the Off Topic forum. The owner's of this site made an announcement and expressed some interest in having OT posts put there. There were even a few threads moved there to kind of get the ball rolling and get the point across.

I have since noticed that most people's posting habits have yet to change. I was just wondering the reasons most people have chosen to not post there the way it's meant to be used?

I've been posting any OT stuff there, but I rarely posted OT anyway. If anything, I post more OT than I did.

Except for the supermodels in body paint today while it was on TV, I had to get that to the masses quickly!!! Please forgive me.:D

I go there more and even post cause its not filled with idiot hate mongering ideology like in the past. Now its actually relevant topics. Just dont pertain to boating.

I think it is a good idea. Lets face it , We all love boating. However , sometimes there is real life sh it we want to ask people about.

I check the OT section several times a day but I only open those that may be of interest.

I think it was a great idea. It's just a matter of everyone changing their ways to visit that section of the site.

Seems to be no problem in the uncensored section ;)

maybe Cat with a software controled Post limit of 3 a day if he's good for 6 months he get his limit upped to 5

make sure you start off with his settings so that he cannot posts links to those stupid websites

The Current Affair fourm was mostly a political fourm The OT fourm is just that, Off Topic, non boating realted topics, which is good because of the diverse resourses available here.

I think the OT forum is serving it's purpose and in a good way. There is no room here for stupid political arguments and/or religion. Just my opinion!!!;)
