Good RV park at LOTO?
I was wondering if any of you LOTO regulars could give me some info as to where a good RV park is on LOTO. It needs to have a decent ramp and docks and be somewhere near the "action" areas of the lake. We are thinking of trailering down this summer from Toronto to experience LOTO for the first time. I would be towing my 25 daytona behind the motor home so I would need a GOOD ramp for launching. The docks so I wouldn't have to haul out every night.
Any info you could provide would be appreciated.
Thanks.
PS. would we get a severe beatin drivin a 25 foot cat there, I hear it gets awfully rough.

The state park has RV camp grounds, ramp and slips. It would also be a calm ride from the camp ground to Partycove.

Air-your cat will be ok. Sometimes things can get a bit hairy, but you'll be ok. When are you thinking of coming down? We may have some space available in the condo if it's memorial day or the shootout.

Cord, not really sure as of yet. When is the shootout? Memorial day is just another weekend here for us and pretty early in the season so I doubt it would be then. Kid still in school then. We were thinkin maybe mid to end of July. Might be a bring kid thing, might be a leave kid with grand parents at cottage thing. Haven't really descided as of yet. Where is "the condo" ?

It's the weekend before Labor day. I'm not sure what date that is. The mrs would know. With a stock motor in a cat, you'd have a really good chance of winning your class. The only other one is a 25 Elim with a black motor. He runs in the mid 70's, really nice guy. I almost won my class because every body tries to be big dog with a blower motor. Even if you don't enter, you would be better off going down with the OSO group to show you around. The lake is big and many of the good spots are well hidden.
We stay at the Ledges. It's north of the cove by maybe 20 miles. We used to stay at another one that was directly across from the cove, but it was really expensive.
