I thought I would post this as a public service to all my warm weather bretheren. Just in case you have never had to pull your car out of a snow bank, this is what not to do.

Had they only previously played the PlayStation II game "Pull Your Car Outta the Snow, Dude", the outcome may have been very different.

sad part is they actually did have it hooked up right.....if you look at the bumper after its off you can see where the support attaches tothe unibody/frame part! Thats what broke and let loose!!

Here's the latest "rumor"...

The driver of the truck was on the radio this morning here in DC. He said the incident took place in the Waldorf, MD area and that the car was purchased only a week earlier. He also said the car owner reported it as a hit-and-run to the insurance company, with the explanation that the car was hit by a plow. He said the insurance company was skeptical but in the end declared the vehicle totaled, because of the frame damage, and paid the claim. Of course now all of DC knows about the fraud.
