So when you two clowns come down next week are there going to be dents all in those gangsta cars by the time they get to Fl.?

I was wondering the same thing.:D Somebody from AT gave some info on the 33 on the AT forum. maybe the 43 is a sore subject.

L.O.R.,

Not a sore subject at all. Just very stupid of us to try and lure in customers on something we couldn't produce quite yet.

That is not to say that it may not happen in the future. However, rest assured, we won't say we can build you something that we can't until we can. It just blows our credibility to say so otherwise.

Keep an eye on us and our future. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the continued interest. Pat.

LapseofReason 02-09-2004 07:58 PM

I think you build great boat's, way better than what they cost, I hope one day you have a contender in that size range.

LapseofReason 02-09-2004 08:29 PM

I have my info now, carry on:D

R Addiction 02-09-2004 08:44 PM

BT, Was that a cheap shot? I don't need to upgrade, I just head for the rougher water and you'll fade like a pair of old jeans!!:p

A.T. was my first choice when considering a new 28, I contacted them about a 28 w/ a 500 EFI and was blown away by the price I was quoted,,, IMO there are a lot better bargains on 28 footers out there with just as good a reputation and build quality..

Gordo 02-10-2004 02:13 PM

Wish I could buy one...

Price depends on equipment, and the AT is a lot bigger looking 28 than the others when you set it side-by-side. Don't forget that a small fortune of your quoted price was going to Mercury for your choice in power. How dramatic a difference in price was there with the others you looked at?
IMHO, the Active Thunders have always been a pretty good value for a true custom made boat. I bought mine used, but the new prices didn't seem out of line at all to me in comparison to the others.

105mph_38_2003 02-10-2004 04:08 PM

For a 28' I think a Pantera is the best boat for the money...I wanted a 37' AVH and was quoted $325k:eek:

I haggled and haggled and found out that it was just a problem salesman that is no longer with the company. I would be in one right now if it was'nt for his outrageous price...Which was full retail:rolleyes: Nevermind the excuse I was given on why I should pay full retail:crazy:

I know several people that would never own anything but an AT:cool:
