I saw a post that a few years back baja may have had some stringer problems, and I am looking to purchase one so I was doing some research before I bought it.

And thanks for the welcome

All performance boats are prone to stringer problems-especially as age and/or power goes up. I don't think Baja is any more or less prone to stringer failures than any other. BUT you should always have a boat surveyed by a pro before you purchase it. And preferably by a pro that knows performance boats.
