(Yes, in fact, it is)

It is only the 2nd time they have entered the performance boat market.

1st time for a stepped hull from Cobalt. Rumored to run into the 80s with twin 575's.

Oh, did I mention that my dad worked for Cobalt some years back?

Don't discount that which you don't know much about. . . I can assure you that the fit and finish on a Cobalt is second to none.

I may need some Kansas boys to back me up on this. . . ?

I saw that boat at Ft Lauderdale boat show, great looking boat. Cobalts are screwed and glued and would not be the most durable if taken offshore very often. But it is a cool boat.
