I have noticed that quite a few of our OSO brothers are out of work and having a hard time finding a job. I figured since you can find anything and everything on this site why not a job! I'm sure there are people who own companies, work for companies or know somebody looking to fill a position.

So lets use this thread to bring employers and employees together! People looking for work can post there information here for anyone to view. Even if your not looking to hire yourself, you might know somebody who is, and provide a good lead!

I need a full time motorcycle sales person. At Cycle sport in Alexandria VA. You will make between 25-50 K depending how good at sales you are. If you are in school it's great job since you have time to read and study.

I am currently looking for a new job so that I can re-locate to Florida. I have been in contact with a couple of people but nothing solid at this point. I have a four year college degree, have worked as a police officer for over 6 years. At times, I have even been the daily supervisor on that job. My work experience has also included doing general maintenance for a real estate company and managing my family's small boat marina back in Pittsburgh. So, basically my skills can carry over into many fields out there. Just need to find one that pays well. 30k and up is a good start. If anybody knows of anything in the Florida area that would fit into any of the above listed types of work, let me know. I am multitalented, educated, smart and motivated. No, I have a friend down there that is but he need to make about 60K.

I do pretty good at motorcycles now and don't see me changing YET.

Heck, I would be happy starting out in the 30's. Closer to 40 would be nice. I will email a resume. Dont have alot of sales exp. but, in my current line of work we have to B.S. people all the time.:D :D But if I have to pay my dues, I will pay my dues. Did that for 2 1/2 years part time at 8 then 9 dollars and hour.

Would I have to learn Spanish? :D

It would help, What do you know where my shop is?:D

We always give employees a 3 month review.... Than you'll be doing fine provided you work hard, make a strong effort to learn, take your job seriously, and don't fuc* up...:D

I realy like the idea of this. Currently I am in Europe, but was thinking about strting something like this. Tim G. has previously offered such a position. With such a wide variety of people, a network like this could be very rewarding for all parties invovled. Hoping someone can lend me the hand when my time comes!!!

This is a good thread, I was informed that I was going to be let go last Thursday. I was able to get 4 interviews so far lined up for this week and then I was told that I was not going to be let go. Imagine that.

Great idea for a post. I am also looking for a new line of work due to unhappiness at my current job. I am a recent graduate of Salisbury University with a dregree in Communications, kind of like Public Relations. Been around boats and motorcycles all of my life and they are my passion. If anyone is looking for high-tech field sales, (software specifically) we are looking to hire, we have many open slots right now and it's added head count, not back-fill.
