They are perfect. I got them off of the website. Hope you did not mind. Do you have any photos of the new Fountain rigged at Supercat Rigging(MTI)???? My guess is that they went inline with a set of Mercury#6 dry-sumps using your boxes.

Mercury #6's are what I call surface drives... the propeller pierces the surface.. most of the new outdrives do. The whole point of the propeller to pierce the surface is so that it will "ventilate" rather than "cavitate". There is lots of debate as to which drive offers the least amount of drag and transmits the most power to the prop.Mercury went to dry sumps on their #6's so that the gears didn't have to fling all that gear lube around... supposedly saves about 35 horses.

If indeed #6 drives are considered surface drives (and I never thought of them as such), why no rooster-tail like the true surface drives?:confused:
